Assembly costs vary for each model and it’s best to leave this to experienced Office Furniture Professionals.
Our recommendation is to have your INAPOD professionally built either by your own technician or you can contact us to help you choose a qualified technician and obtain a quote. The professional team will arrive on an arranged date to unpack, assemble, and install your INAPOD to your specified location and remove all packaging and debris when they're done.

INAPODS are designed solely for indoor use. They cannot be placed anywhere that is subject to outdoor elements.

Using a professional installation team assembly times are as follows -
S-POD Between 3 - 3.5 hours, (2 installers)
D,W & C PODS Between 4.5 – 6 hours, (3 installers)
M POD Between 6 - 8 Hours. (3 installers)

The INAPODS connect by a standard 240v plug connection to the wall socket. No need for hard wiring. Thanks to this connection, ventilation fans, LED lights, socket outlets, USB charging inputs and Cat6 Ethernet in the POD are activated automatically.

We have designed the smaller INAPODS to be moveable after assembly by using a series of bearing castors in the base allowing for easy re-location. Due to the large size, the M POD cannot be moved once insitu.

We designed the INAPOD to provide a comfortable working environment by providing higher sound insulation compared to our competitors. As indicated in the acoustic testing, the pods offer a sound range as low as TUV-32dB/NIC. When using INAPOD products, you can move from a noisy office environment to a peaceful and quiet space to hold your meetings, phone calls or zoom calls in privacy. Additionally, it is important to be able to hear any warning device that may alert the user to any outside threat.

Whilst INAPODS provide excellent noise attenuation and are built with special materials with the best absorption to deliver a high acoustic rating, they are not designed to be 100 percent soundproof so you may still hear some muffled sounds from the outside. This keeps your conversations inside the INAPOD private while still allowing for some awareness of your external environment.

Once inside an INAPOD, a motion sensor will automatically turn on the dimmable LED strip lighting, which is easily adjusted via a rocker switch, (wireless dimmer system)

Yes, an opaque (film) coating can be retro-fitted to the glass to give visual privacy.

Absolutely, the INAPODs are ventilated with variable speed fans located in the top of the unit with the airflow proceeding to the outlets in the bottom of the pod. This is a similar airflow system used in aircraft. There are between 2 (S POD) and up to 12 (M POD) ventilation fans with 2 speed options standard, easily adjusted via a rocker switch located adjacent to the fans (accessed via the outer top casing of the POD).
This allows for 60ACPH approx. (60 air changes per hour approx. or 1 per minute)
* We recommend setting the fan to low at construction and if not sufficient, the fan can be set to the higher speed later. Ventilation fans, located on the ceilings of the INAPODS, carry outside ambient air in the office in a way that does not interfere with sound insulation.

There are between 1 and 2 A/C power points, 2 x USB power ports and 1x Cat6 Ethernet connection to provide full connectivity to the outside world.

Removeable interior panels allow your IT department to run and connect any cabling in the walls and ceilings. The quick release panel system gives your team full flexibility.

Yes there is a A/C power socket conveniently located inside the acoustic booth.

Simply step inside the INAPOD and the motion sensor will activate automatically powering the internal lighting, ventilation and port connectivity. The power will automatically switch itself off within 2 minutes of stepping outside the POD, thereby saving valuable energy.

Absolutely, Cell phone and Wi-Fi connectivity are seamless, with continuous power supply for your gadgets and direct connection to your office network via CAT6 Ethernet connector.

No plywood panelling or timber beams are used.Sophisticated automated machinery ensures consistent quality, while construction using galvanised steel delivers the finest quality product.

No. The INPODS are considered to be moveable furniture, and are not considered to be part of the building so are not subject to NCC provisions. Additionally, the PODS do not contain materials that can be easily combustible. The chassis and body of the INAPODS are made from structural steel with steel sheet covering. No plywood panels or timber beams are used in the construction. The internal surface materials, upholstery and acoustic materials have been rigorously tested to Australian & international fire standards and contain no easily combustible materials.

SPRINKLER SYSTEM
Please note: An automatic sprinkler system can be installed after the unit has been assembled if required by local regulations.
There are knock out holes in the ceiling to fit a fire sprinkler head if required.
We still recommend that you check with your local building certifiers or fire protection engineers as interpretations around the NCC requirements may differ.

The INAPOD range of acoustic booths have a 5 year warranty for body parts, external mechanism and frame, except negligence during or after installation. Additionally, the electrical components come with a 2 year warranty.
Normal wear and tear are not included. -
The INAPOD range of office pods are made from structural steel. We do not use formaldehyde. Formaldehyde is a colorless, flammable, strong-smelling chemical that is used in building materials and to produce many household products. It is used in pressed-wood products, such as particleboard, plywood, and fiberboard in the glues and adhesives used in their manufacturing process. TEST RESULTS
